Mom and Baby Yoga (2 months to 2 years)
Connect with your child while enjoying the
benefits of yoga. This allows Mom to get her
workout in and for baby to be entertained and
loved throughout the practice. You will also
get out of the house to a non-stressful environment
where you will meet other new mothers. The value
of this should not be underestimated. Plus,
it's never too early to start your kids doing
yoga! All levels
Kids Yoga Journey (2 yrs to 4 yrs)
Classes are small in size and include many
disciplines including yoga, music, drama and
storytelling. Yoga helps to strengthen toddlers'
bodies, developing their sense of co-ordination,
balance and spatial awareness. These sessions
promote exercise as fun and rewarding and enhance
physical confidence.
Yoga Adventures (5 to 7 yrs)
These classes involve lots of fun, action and
yoga to promote a positive, non-competitive
atmosphere where children interact, imagine
and exercise together. The positive atmosphere
encourages children to relax and have fun while
they develop not only strength, coordination,
flexibility and balance, but also body awareness,
better focus and concentration, and self confidence.
Tenderfeet Yoga (8 to 11 yrs)
Yoga enhances children’s flexibility,
strength, coordination, and body awareness.
Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect
more deeply with the inner self, and develop
an intimate relationship with the natural world
that surrounds them.
Yoga for Tween and Teen Girls (12 to
14 yrs)
Yoga for this age group provides techniques
for redirecting thoughts and calming the nervous
system. It helps develop the teen’s ability
to focus through practical disciplines of breath
and bodywork. It aids to develop self-image,
open them up to their greater qualities of kindness,
compassion, and nonviolence.
Young Athletes (8 to 11 yrs)
This class teaches the children how to reduce
injuries and improve performance by building
strength, coordination and focus. Basic yoga
poses are practiced to strengthen the muscles
and tendons that are most prone to injury during
athletic activities. Breathing techniques will
be taught to allow for better oxygen release.
This will help tone the nervous system, improve
circulation, promote flexibility and release
tension.
Yoga Birthday Parties
Our parties are energetic, creative and fun
for kids of all ages! Each party begins with
games and activities that get kids moving and
dancing, along with fun group yoga poses, music,
and the use of yoga props. Kids love to be creative
with the props and express themselves through
movement and play.
Family Yoga ( 1 parent & 1 child -
extra fee for 1 additional parent or child)
Leave your busy schedule behind to have fun
and laugh together as a family. During the Family
Yoga class, you will learn energetic breathing
techniques and postures to help connect to your
family and to yourself. We will end each class
with relaxation which allows the parent(s) and
child/children to relax together. Family yoga
classes are for children and parent(s) of all
abilities.
